Affordable clean energy against climate change. Moldova report: SDGs 7 & 13

What is the status of implementation of SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action) in Moldova? What are the main obstacles to achieving the Goals by 2030 and how can the government and civil society address these challenges? In the first independent review, experts present a comprehensive assessment of the government’s actions in the context of achieving SDGs 7 and 13 in the Republic of Moldova from a civil society perspective. They note the obvious dependence on the country’s energy system, which makes it impossible to achieve a reliable and available energy supply for all inhabitants. In addition, the report notes the country’s vulnerability to climate change and the need to prioritize and intensify the issue of adaptation to future changes for the government, civil society and business.

The publication “Affordable and Clean Energy against Climate Change – Moldova Report” on SDG 7 and SDG 13 is the result of the joint cooperation between EcoVisio Moldova with Dekabristen e.V. (Germany) with support from the German Federal Foreign Office.
