Sustainable Development Goal 11: Alternative Urban Assessment

Armenia has produced its first comprehensive report on SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, focusing on inclusive, safe and sustainable cities. The report localized global standards to create an accurate Armenian database, identifying key issues and high-level recommendations for future research and policy development.
The report not only addresses critical issues, but also provides high-level recommendations that can guide future in-depth research and serve as a basis for nuanced policy guidance. This initiative represents a collective effort to redefine urban development in Armenia and set the stage for transformative progress.

The “Spotlight Report. Sustainable Development Goal No. 11: Alternative Urban Assessment” is the result of the cooperation between urbanlab and Dekabristen e.V. (Germany), with support from the German Federal Foreign Office.
